Names doing damage????

Okay, i tried to provide a link, but i can't for some reason. Just wondering if anyone else had a problem where Summoner names were doing consistant damage. I was just in a game, of which i lost. Rammus, the jungler, was doing damage with just his very presence. And every time that i died with him either killing or assisting on me, he would do anywhere from 100-1200 damage with just his name. There was no ability picture, and whenever i scrolled over it, it said "Ginger Root 17". its confusing me as that is his summoner name, and it was actually making me mad. i lost a total of about 5000 health from just his health. I have a feeling that this is a bug. If you, Riot, can address this, it would mean alot to me. this has been happening ALOT as of late.

I was playing a game of SR with just a few friends. normal Blind Pick like the norm. and during that game, whenever i die, i tend to check the death recap to see what i died from so i can prevent it. and every death, i see that theres always one part of it that has no picture on it, just damage, the percentage, and what type. it strikes odd to me, so i scroll over it. and always, its the summoners name. no ability, no other source. just the name of the summoner who did the damage. apperently the name is doing damage whenever he attacks me. and also i do want to address that i just got done with a game, and i was facing a fed Rengar. sucks, i know. but when he towerdove me, i kited him for about 2 seconds. HE WAS NOT TAKING ANY DAMAGE FROM THE TURRET. i was doing damage to him because of my auto's. but when i was kiting him around it, was wasnt taking any damage. i check the death recap when i died. IT WAS DOING DAMAGE TO ME!!! i swear there are quite a few bugs. it "bugs" me out (have phreak give me an Oscar) because the deathrecap is never right. sometimes it is, dont get me wrong there. but it happens 80 percent of the time that the champion PRESENCE is doing damage.
