Press edit masteries and spacebar 3 times

I was in my first promo game and someone in chat said to do it, and out of curiosity, I did. My masteries page was then unable to be minimized and I couldn't select a champion leading to me losing my first promo game by dodge. Is there anything that can be done about this?
