Chat box stuck ontop of champ select - couldnt pick a champion

Just had this problem in my promo game and it forced me to "dodge" since i couldnt pick a champion/lock him in. I was in chat when i pressed accept (in game chat window) and when i got into champ select, the chat window couldnt be closed, it covered up the entire "lock in" button, i couldnt press it thus making me leave champ select and lose a promo game.

i tried every button on the chat window, it wouldnt respond, as if it was frozen, couldnt move it, couldnt pop it out, changing resoultion of the client wouldnt unfreeze it, and i ran out of time before i could try anything else.
