Role-swap failed in promos...

So i got into my gold 2 promos for Mid earlier today, I won a few games and had 98 LP. I then won an ADC game to get me into my mid promos (because ik they just implemented that) I win the game and it says i have reached my promos in Mid. Couple hours later im back on league. I get into champ select and our support says he was autofilled, i offer him mid and he accepts. We lose the game after 50 minutes, so i then 'skip waiting for stats' thing and i look on my profile, and i still have the same amount of LP on support as i did before that game (support is my highest role, thats why i could see it). So i suspect it counted as a loss for my mid... i play a mid game and lose, the end of game stats say my LP went from 98 to 80.... even though it said i was in my mid promos... i dont understand.

EDIT: So i just won another game in Mid, and i have 98 lp again, so idk what was wrong, but i was either never in promos to begin with and it lied, or i lost promos after my support game counted as a mid, and it never told me i lost them.
