Phantom blitz shield

When playing blitzcrank, I have noticed that I permanently have a shield visible in my health bar for about 50-100 hp that doesn't prevent damage and kinda just sits there... It has messed me up a few times because I think I have more health than I do. Has anyone else noticed this?
