If it isn't, then there should be a better way for players to know. I mean, the dark side of the bush (the side that is always invisible to the player due to camera angle) should be easier to manage. I mean, that happens to me all the time. Some time it is too dangerous to go close to a bush. Irrespective, i think that is close enough to be registered inside the bush
If you want to take a screenshot, the default is F12 (keybind can be changed if that another function of your OS takes priority).
When you're placing your ward, your cursor will turn green when it will be placed in a bush, and I believe it's only white while outside a bush. I think it can be blocked at the very edge if a champion is standing right there as well, and end up outside the bush.(I'm not positive on that part.)
