[Gameplay] Creating Item set not working

I just bought Kindred and wanted to create an item set for her. I started it up and it gets to the point where I try to click and drag the items into the item setup page and it simply will not allow me to do so. The drag feature is not working and its not just one item. I tried it with the machete and all its enhancements, I tried it on Blade of the ruined king and then with ward, potions, frozen heart, ludens echo, none of these work. Its just the dragging feature that won't work for me, as double clicking it does work for me since doing so on the machete advances the item for me.

Here is what I see: Hover cursor over desired item icon, cursor changes to pointed finger mouse, Click item (silhouette of icon appears for split second), drag item for 0.00001 seconds, Silhouette disappears, cursor changes to the crossed out circle symbol for 1 second, cursor returns to pointed finger icon. Happens multiple times.

I turned the client off and then on again. I restarted my computer. So what is the hotfix on this one because I had a friend check this one out and it appears that this bug is only affecting me.
