This bug has existed for sometime, and has somehow turned into a game mechanic. Please remove the ability for Diana to get a reset on her ultimate if she fires the Q after already using her ultimate. She is supposed to only get the reset if she consumes the mark, yet there is no mark when she is using her ult. This makes no sense, and has almost no counterplay.
It is because her Q hits before her ult. The mark gets consumed to reset her ult when she hits the target, it wouldn't make much sense for the mark to be consumed on cast when the mark is target dependent and it is hitting the target with your ult that consumes the mark.
Basically it is Q > R > Q hits (+ mark) > R hits > Mark is consumed to refresh ult CD.
You'd think that Fondling, but when for example I was Ahri, landed a charm mid dash, she still got the reset. The mark should have to be on the target BEFORE you use your ult, not somewhere in between.
It's been like this forever, standard Q > press R while the Q is traveling, Get the reset before Q lands.
Unless you're referring to the RQ combo which only Diana one trick ponies can do with thousands of games on her.. requires knowledge of where max range of the ulti is to hit it every time, and can easily be screwed up.
