Can't add my friend

Hey guys. One of my friends told me their summoner's name so i can add them on league. So I searched up their name and it said that this person doesn't exist. So I told her mine and she found me. So i told her to friend me. But the next day I looked on my league and I didn't receive a friend invitation. She said that she did send it yesterday even though I didn't receive it. So can you guys tell me why i can't find her even though she can find mine and why she sent me a friend invite and i didn't receive it? (We are both on the NA server)

Sounds like you are on different servers. What are the two summoner names in question?

I'm having this same problem. My friend and I can't find each other. It says we don't exist, but we have both checked the servers and everything.
