Win match, lose LP, are we really trying to de-incentivize ranked this much?

So, I am playing a ranked game, and there is a power outage, I d/c. Power comes back almost immediately, and I get back in, only slightly behind, we were winning at this point. Then, for whatever reason, my breakers flip, probably a surge on the grid as everyone comes back or just in my house, w/e. I run and reset my breakers, this rejoin takes a little longer but my team is holding on and encourages me to farm back up. We end up winning the game, and I LOSE LP. What is the point of this? Why would I ever bother to relog if I had a tech issue if regards of outcome I lose LP?

That's messed up man. You should not lose LP unless you stayed AFK and your team reported you. You probably should not play ranked when it is storming though because of the chance of this happening

Guessing you lose LP because there are plenty of situations where that happening will cause your team to lose the game. It would be nice to have some sort of timer where being gone for 1-5 minutes -10lp, being gone 5-10 minutes lose -20 lp or something. That way folks coming back don't get hurt as bad as the ones who don't..
