There is NO reason to be stuck at "Game still in progress"

Why am I STUCK in that end game screen in the client when the stats are loading??? It makes ZERO fucking sense Riot. It cant be because of my "internet connection" or my fucking laptop being shit when the next game or the game before loads in less than a second. I swear to god, just fix this shit and I would infinitely happier with that excuse of a client.
