How many threads are gonna have to be made about the black screen before we even acknowledge it??

So many mac users, myself included, can't play because the game crashes when it launches and we just get a permanent black screen. Is it because it's the weekend that we're not doing anything about it? The fact that it's been 3 days now and it still hasn't been fixed yet is bad enough, but I have to yet anyone at Riot even acknowledge this problem exists or that they are in the process of fixing it. And that it was REALLY bothers me more than anything.
