[GAMEPLAY] In-game chat character limit not applied!

Compare the video above to this video of how chat works in the client: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgRn3vtfGcc

This is a very simple bug that is very annoying to any really long-winded typists. Basically, there is a limit on the size of a message you can send in chat in-game, exactly how there is a limit on the size of a message you can send in public chat rooms in the client. If using chat rooms in the client, when typing something really long into the chat bar, it will eventually reach the limit and not let you type any more characters until you send your message.

HOWEVER, with in-game chat, there seems to be no limit on how long of a message you can type in the chat bar before sending it; you can just keep typing forever! But when you finally send your message, it simply cuts off everything you wrote that went over the character limit. This behavior should be changed to the same as the client chat rooms, where when you reach the character limit it prevents you from typing any further and wasting your time.

Someone at Riot, please respond and fix this very simple bug soon! ;_;

Bumping this post, this really is a very simple bug with a very simple fix, and I'd rather it not be swept under the floorboards...

Bumping this post because I added another video comparing how chat works in the client as opposed to in the game.

Bump. Please fix soon, or at least let one of the code monkeys reply to this thread and say what their status is...
