The tooltip does not display the additional Ability Power (AP) gained from the item's passive. Screenshot included.

im having the same problem. do you know if its still giving the ap but no displaying it in the tooltip?

Yeah, you still get the bonus AP, but it just doesn't display the amount you get from it.
