[Major Bug] Fizz Q does not proc on hit effects

Hey everyone, Unless there's some secret nerf I haven't heard about, I've found that Fizz's urchin strike does not proc on hit effects. It's unbearably annoying and causes his kill potential to drop incredibly.

  1. Pick Fizz
  2. Buy Sheen
  3. Urchin strike and still see sheen proc.

Some of us would like to see that cheeky blue (obscenity) brought down a few pegs.

Something is flaky about it for sure. I know that it sometimes doesn't proc Sheen, but I think sometimes it does. I can't decide if it's a Sheen-only effect, where Sheen simply doesn't activate quick enough to proc, or if it stops all on-hit effects. I do think the distance you Q from makes a difference (Melee is bad, max range works better). However, I'm not certain.

Yeah, below a certain range it won't proc spellblade effects, because the check for whether or not there's an on-hit effect to proc happens before it's generated (at least that's my theory). It can be nice for if you want to use q and empowered auto separately, say, get another proc on a tower, get burst on two people instead of one, nab two cs...but it's definitely a bug.

Lol, from what I experience, the range of q is a nonfactor; the proc just doesn't happen. It's the auto attack afterwards that procs on hit effects. I'm honestly amazed that no one's said anything. I do agree that fizz needs a nerf of some sort, but this wouldn't be an appropriate nerf. It makes him a fighter, not an assassin.
