Why are dominion summoner spells still included in the LoL client in the spells tab

{{summoner:17}} {{summoner:2}} are still included in the LoL client and say "Dominion" when you click on them.

A rioter has previously stated that they no longer have staff with the technical knowledge to edit that section of the client and that it would not be worth the time to have a staff member learn how to do so.

Doesn't seem worthwhile to mess with the old client too much when they're releasing a new client relatively soon.
