Team Builder Failure To Load Game

I queued up for Team Builder, waited 5 minutes, got a team assembled. The team leader put us in queue. Around 5 minutes of waiting for a game, I started to get suspicious. I waited in Team Builder queue for 25 minutes and decided I'd rather get into a Blind Draft considering I already wasted enough time I could have played a full game. When I pressed the X to leave queue, there was no error message. When I tried to join a solo Blind Draft queue, it said I was already in a game and couldn't join the queue. I tried again thinking maybe it was just a blip but the same error message "you are already in a game and cannot join the queue" (paraphrasing). So I exited the client. When I logged back in, it gave me the option to reconnect. The game had already been going for 20+ minutes when I got in. At the end of the game (we lost, obviously) I was hit with a Leaver Buster warning: "Abandoning a match or being AFK results in an unfair game for your teammates, and is a punishable offense in League of Legends. Do you agree not to leave any further games? Type 'I Agree' to continue".

Now, I've NEVER left a game,** EVER**. Not a single one. I didn't leave this one either. The game just never connected for me. I had no way to know that it had already started and that the client had bugged out and I'm being threatened by LeaverBuster for something that is a clear client error. I'm going to type I agree because I DO agree that leaving is a terrible thing and people should not do it, but I want this off of my clean record. I need someone to take care of this please.

EDIT: I posted this here because it's not a LeaverBuster error, it is a client error that caused the LeaverBuster to kick in.
