Range Indicator FPS Drop

Hello everyone, This problem has happened to me for around 6 months where if i wanted to use normal cast or even quick cast with range indicator my fps would drop dramatically into the 30s which makes the game unplayable. I don't really think it's a problem with my computer since i usually get around 180-200 fps. For champions like xerath, seeing the range is a pain for me since my fps would drop once every time i cast q. I would like to ask if this is a software glitch that Riot didn't realize.
