CLG worlds 2016 Icons not displaying [CLG] in game

I never saw the announcement on what exactly this is and how it works, but I see my friend with his 2015 TSM icon, and that works. but none of my three clg icons work as far as getting my that sweet clg buff. I think this would have to be a bug, since everyone else is getting theirs to work, but when I go into game with my clg worlds icon I get nothing. really sad.
