Hot key reset issues

For some reason, after not playing league for at least 3 hours and immediately starting a game, my 'b' for base doesnt work. This leads me to restoring the default for hotkeys and having to rebind them to liking over and over. I'm not sure if this is a bug in the game or a client issue.
