Morde R "fizzles" almost every skill in the game

The champion I'm noticing it the most on is Chogath

If you rupture during, before, or any time in the century of morde's ult cast, and he takes you inside his realm, your Q just doesn't do anything. Same with Sion's Q which really makes no sense, I could understand Cho Q being a "ground" thing, targetting the "normal" ground and you're both taken to "shadow" ground, but why would Sion's Q channel be fizzled by morde ult. He ults me, but my spell doesn't hit him? Real work needed to be done on this before it was released, this stuff is too bogus.

It makes sense, Mordekaiser's ult sends you to a different map temporarily where the only constant is the turrets and Mordekaiser himself.

The reason is simple. Everything, but turrets and two champions, is destroyed upon entering the Death Realm. A channelled ability, like Sion Q, acts like a "zone of effect" skill. For example, Morgana W is a zone of effect skill that gets destroyed when you enter Death Realm.

Another one. Suppose Malzahar is using his R on someone and Mordekaiser ults him. Upon entering the Death Realm, Malzahar R is cancelled. The same thing happens with Sion.

Mordekaiser can even cancel his own Q and E, if he uses them right before exiting the Death Realm. The ability is consistent.
