Some sort of knockup bug

So I entered into an ARAM game and got Nocturne. Game was VS . Started on Purple side and every thing was going normally. The bug happened towards the end of the match when I was in the middle of a team fight. I spotted Veigar, saw a chance and went for the kill. While I was autoing Veigar, he was moving towards brush and I was slowed by his teammates. I pressed the key for flash with my cursor in the brush but didn't see the animation happen. I wasn't in the brush and didn't have vision inside brush. About 2 or 3 seconds later I see myself falling from the sky slowly to where I would of been if my flash had gone off correctly. I'm going to assume that Chogath knocked me up (heard the rupture sound before bug happened) and that combined with the timing of my flash probably caused the knock up into space.
