Not sure if bug or intentional

I was playing aurelion sol against velcoz when whenever he ulted i used my ult to push him back and disrupt his ult, but i didnt work vel only took damage and was not knocked back at all nor was his ult disrupted it happened more than once too i just thought you guys should maybe look into that.
