Lux Spells invisible

I had a lux on my own team and one on the enemy team. My ally was playing steel legion lux and that was fine, however The enemy Lux was using the classic skin and EVERYTHING was invisible her snares except when they landed, and her E not even the red border just absolutely nothing. all particles were missing until the spell hit and her passive was applied. The exception being her shield and her ult.
