Warwick unable to back or use item actives

I was in a game as ww top with urfwick skin. I was able to use tiamat in a fight I was in. Nocturne ulted (not my lane), then I was unable to back or use item actives. I believe it was caused by the nocturne ult because it fixed itself after he ulted again, this time in my lane. I know there is a lot of variables but can anyone recreate or have any info? I may have tried to use tiamat active as he ulted.
