Hecarim - Zhonya

Herro!, Soo I just played AP Hecarim for the funz, and I thought I could be a free pony by using Zhonya's Hourglass while using my W to recover health, just like Swain is a free bird and he can do that with his ult... B-b-but it wouldn't heal me T_T Anyway, Hecarim's W doesn't heal him while he's using Zhonya (I guess the same problem would be if a Bard used ult on our pony friend?) but it DOES deal the damage around him. (and if it deals damage it's supposed to heal... so the problem is with the healing, not with the damage :^ ) Welp our little pony.
