Why Can Ezreal Start Arcane Shift Animation Just To Avoid an Untimely Stun Location

Played a game of ARAM. While it may or may not be in the code. I don't understand why the programming allows Ezreal to consistently Arcane Shift after successfully receiving a stun so their can be no follow up. Is this a bug? Is this intentional? If its intentional I'd have to say its a poor design choice.

Played a game of ARAM with Syndra and hit him left and right with stuns only to have his Arcane Shift animation complete and launch him back so there could be no follow up. I know you can trigger abilities and flash and it makes sense since its on your side and your access to casting should not be locked off during any of that. Why the hell does the Arcane Shift animation complete after being stunned though? I know he's stunned as he comes out of the Syndra 'W' stunned but nonetheless his Arcane shift is allowed to complete. This seems a bit counter intuitive to call something a stun if champions are allowed to complete a 'semi-channeled' ability even after being hit by the stun.

It's intended.

Unlike most dashes in the game, there's a delay when Ezreal hits his E and when he actually moves. The developers have left this in for him and Tristana as a sort of trade off. You're more likely to damage them than other champions with dashes, but they can potentially get to a safer location when hit by CC. It's the bane of Blitzcrank's everywhere, since it means they can always escape his grab if they're paying attention (and have the mana and it's off CD, of course).

Its not a bug as DrCyanide said, his E cast is way faster than your combo (e.g. by 0.2 or 0.3 of a second) thats why he gets stunned after his arcane shift is done. this happens mostly if they use Quick Cast abilities otherwise its harder for them, because they have to left click with the mouse to use the skill.

=== EDIT === This is not how you should do a topic for a bug, please read this topic:

Ezreal doesn't get stunned during his E for the same reason Lux doesn't stop her ult casting when stunned. They're super long spell casts, not channels. SO, any CC that occurs during the spell cast, doesn't stop the spell from going through. Thus Ezreal blinks away from Blitz Grabs that land, Stuns that land, snares, silences, etc.
