Minimap Left Click Still Delayed 8.14

Haven't seen this acknowledged at all yet over a week later...the left click on the mini map still has a 1 second delay if your camera is locked/fixed on your champion. This is very annoying due to the inability to click around the map and instantly see what is going on and then snapping right back to your champ. It hurts overall map awareness, and I'm sure very low elo players (bronze) who aren't even comfortable unlocking their screen for even short periods of time find this extremely frustrating because this is likely their first step towards increasing their map awareness. Why has this not been addressed or fixed yet???
