loosing connection to game mid game help please.

I was playing urf and i lost connection mid game this has happened twice today so far one time i reconected after about 10 minutes but the second game i couldn't reconnect and i closed the game and reattempted but i just got a black screen for five minutes so i just closed it. if any one has a clew what might cause this besides a pissing contest between riot and spectrum like there was in the past i would like to know.
