Kalista OR Dragon Kills Tryndamere through his ULT

I was playing a game as tryndamere, got into a 3v3 skrimish around dragon. The dragon was still up, I was nearing 0 hp and critting the balls off of Kalista, so I hit R. I hear the ability go off with Trynd's battle roar, I live for about a second at 1hp, AND THEN I DIE. Killed by Kalista. Im dead and my Ult is on cooldown having used it ONE second ago. Kalista's E may have killed me? Or Dragon? Or a combo of the both?

Either way, I got jipped a teamfight. Anyone else have this?
