Reconnecting and random spikes

Today I was playing with one of my friends while waiting in Que and suddenly I was on the screen which said reconnect, I pressed the reconnect button several times and it didn't reconnect me back to the game. The funny thing is that I just installed the Hextech repair tool application and refreshed my client to ensure that the bugs in the clients were cleared out. I am also receiving random lag spikes even though my internet speed is pretty decent, currently, I am running on 80 ms but it spikes up to 100 - 130 which is very infuriating especially in one on one situations and farming for gold. Additionally, I live in a house of 5 people which isn't very much and shouldn't affect my games. It may be the multiple devices using the internet, a hot router, or I may need more RAM. I probably received another leave buster for that game since I rage quit the other few games I played from the internet issue. Whatever the problem is, please tell me. This has been happening for a 2 week period and wants me to break something.
