[Gameplay/Client] Random Resolution Change - "Input Not Supported"
So. I play League quite a bit. On this computer. On this account. Everything has been the same forever, I never mess with my settings, etc.
Just started a match and when the lobby closed for the game to open I instead got a black screen saying "Input Not Supported". Having some experience with computers I immediately realized this means the game was displaying in a resolution that was not supported by my monitor.
This hasn't happened before, I had changed absolutely NO settings, and the game worked just fine for me yesterday last time I was on.
I had to use Alt+Esc to minimize the game, before closing it in task manager(If I opened it back up it went back to Input Not Supported.).
I was only able to fix it by going into the game config files in the League folder, and manually changing the resolution to one I know my monitor supports.
I have no idea what caused it to happen randomly, I always play on the same computer with the same settings but it suddenly happened out of nowhere. Leaves me without much info to give for replicating it, but at least it's been reported and if others run into the issue they might get the solution from this post.
P.S. Fortunately my team didn't /remake on me even though I was gone for the first 4-5 minutes fixing this. Unfortunately we had two first timers in ranked and I think it was literally the worst loss I've ever had :)
