Good advice is good advice
Regardless of who it comes from.
It doesn't matter what rank you are, what your winrate is, how good you think you are... Good advice is still good advice, and a lot of this community doesn't seem to understand that.
It doesn't matter if the advice comes from an iron 4 with a 2% winrate - If it's good advice, it's good.
Just played a game(On my alternate account, Lunar Lalafell) with an Ashe and Kled who had 7 and 4 vision score in a 26 minute game. We were winning, they were both playing well. I said "Hey, you two are both doing pretty well - But you should really try to plop down a few more wards, vision wins games, you'll win even more. :)"
The response I get? "STFU shitter i have 6 accounts with higher elo thn u" followed by flames about "lmfao 200 games in gold 4 with negative winrate" repeatedly.
Firstly, I've got about 150 games climbing the account from bronze to gold, with a 49% winrate - A 54% winrate on Diana, the only champ I'm actually good with.
Secondly, and more importantly.. You have a SINGLE DIGIT vision score in a 26 minute game, with a champ who literally has a skill(Ashe E) that is devoted 100% to vision. I don't care if you're challenger with a 70% winrate - Someone saying "Hey, if you ward more it'll really help you win more" is still a 100% true statement.
It's not like I said "God you suck you need to ward more nub", I was extremely friendly about it and just pointing out that vision is extremely important. You gotta remember to step down off your high horses sometimes. I see it all the time on the boards as well where someone responds with "STFU ur silver trash im asking diamond+ only". It doesn't matter what rank someone is, use some common sense and realize that good advice is still good advice. Turn off your superiority bias for a minute and accept that lower ranks CAN have higher knowledge.
I guess this comes off a little ranty, but really it's just a reminder - Stop writing someone off just because "lol im higher rank than u" or just because they don't have a 70% winrate, or whatever other excuses you come up with to ignore good advice. If it makes sense, it makes sense - Regardless of who it comes from.
