FPS drops since update 8.11

The in game FPS counter shows no change in my typical 60 FPS and my ping is fine, but I'm still experiencing frame drops. I changed my graphic settings to low spec mode, but the FPS drops still occurred. I used the full repair function in the client, but again no change. Today I tried deleting the game altogether and re-download which turned out to be just a waste of time. I've never experienced this bug before 8.11 and it immediately started occurring after the update.

Huh, what timing! I just built a brand new gaming PC and (apparently incorrectly) figured that something about my new setup was messed up, but seeing this and other bug reports...

Are you guys experiencing the same thing? NOT the full video freeze with audio running in the BG that's causing many players to have to restart the client OR the failure to load/connect on this patch, but just intermittent times when the game is visually stuck on a SINGLE frame for ~1-3 seconds occurring randomly every 20 minutes or so.

It doesn't seem to matter how low or high my settings are, nor have experiments with capping the framerate in options made a difference. There hasn't been a lot of consistency with what's been going on in-game either surprisingly, it seems just as likely to happen before minions have spawned as during a hectic teamfight, (though obviously the latter is more likely to get me killed, and thus feels more memorable).

I'm having some FPS issues as well this patch. I finally got the game to stop crashing and now am getting lower then 60 FPS a lot on medium settings with a 1050 TI LP graphics card... Pretty sure it's not a computer issue.

I have the same problems aswell, i have a i5 3,4GHZ CPU with a 1080 GTX video card. I'm usually playing with uncapped fps, around 200-300, but since this patch there are huge frame freezes, and the more games i play, the less fps i got. Around the 4th of 5th game i only have 30 FPS with League running only.

This is also happening to me, I have 60fps but the game is very choppy... unplayable.

Having the same problem with a core i7 i start with 100 fps then drops to 20-30 fps in laning phase in very low settings no shadows no eye candy i really need help asap

Hi, I need some help here, after the 8.11 patch update, my fps start drops during the game, it was perfect before this patch, like more than 100+ but now it appears drop issue when I fight with someone or clean a lot of minions, I know I have to clean my laptop dust, but I don't think that's the reason why I got this problem. I got MSI GE72 GTX970M. Amumu The graphic just feels think and sticky, like 0.5 sec stop, minions instant move the entire screen is not cleaning and smooth than before. FPS like 100+ to 23 40 then 99 124, 124 120 105 101 88 100 128, then 45 24, 99 142 134 122 103 123 106 114 like that

Same for me but I started seeing it in the current patch.Ever since Riot said a patch to the client was going to happen that the settings for frame cap was going to change to change it on your own.I usually get 60ms but now i get 80 to 90 ms and fps was always good now it drops from 40 to like 10 so static.Ive done repairs uninstalled and reinstalled and it said we notcied you have some broken data we will run a repair to see if it fixes the issue if the issue consists contact " cant remember who it said ".So here I am. I think they fixed the issue now, yesterday I played 6 games my fps was all perfect. I will try it again and let you guys know

i have the same problem it was fine before 30 and now it drops to 20 - 07 and got lot of laggs

Hi guys i got the same problem as all of. I know it sounds stupid but try to change "Theme music" (in sound tab) from updated to classic. I have also turned on "Hide eye candy" in video tab. It fixed my problem but u should try to mess with other options. I hope it will fix ur problem.

I never had this issue before yesterday. After the first time it happened I had to restart my computer and it fixed it, but after a while the fps drops came back for no reason. I usually play at 180/200 fps at maxed settings, now at times it drops to 20 or less at medium settings, so it's not that...

I have the FPS Issue as well and it's really bad - in very low video settings.... 1st thing is when the game loads - the load screen stucks at 60% for quite some time 2nd thing is when the game loads i am ot 0 FPS in the first 2 mins 3nd thing is after the 2nd - 3rd min my FPS is 100 and every time something happens - someone dies, i flash, some one uses an ability it freezes my screen and drops the FPS to 10 or 06 and then pumps it back to 100+... RIOT please resolve this issue because I am in low priority because of this - I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING - reinstalling, full repair in the client, updating drivers, updating windows, updating anything there can be - installed third party software do delete anything unnecessery, and instal everything that can help me out with the GPU card.
