[Gameplay] Keyboard lockout in game

In the last game that I played, upon booting up, the game would let me move around but it wouldn't let me cast abilities or use any of my items. At first, I thought this was because Microsoft Teams had booted up in the background so I exited the game and relogged after uninstalling Microsoft Teams but the issue persisted. I tried relogging several times after this but the issue kept happening every time. I also checked through the setting to make sure that everything was still working. I then tried to enable and disable the setting for keeping the client open in game. The issue still persisted in both of those cases. Anything I can do besides running the repair tool (I literally installed League to this computer, which is a different computer than my normal computer, less than a week ago and I'm already having gamebreaking issues). Given this and the issues that I outlined in my posts toward the end of last competitive season where the game kept crashing, I have now been unable to play League of Legends without gamebreaking bugs across multiple computers and multiple client patches. This one is new and the crashing issue seems to have been fixed by switching to better computer but this is still costing people (including myself) MMR and LP. Please help me if there is something I can do to fix this. Thanks!
