Gameplay <Jarvan IV>

As I was playing J4 in one of my recent games I was laning against a Lee Sin. He had taken me to low health and was constantly tower diving me for a kill. I decided the next time he done it I was going to ult him and trap his ass under the turret. As I knew he would, he used his Q and recast to kick in. It wasn't a killing blow so I had time to cast my R before he got in his last auto attack and when I did, J4 jumped into the air but the cataclysm didn't show up to trap him and I died anyway. There was no damage done and he wasn't even trapped but it put my ultimate on cool down. It was really annoying and I'm not sure that if it didn't even trap him, let alone do any damage, that it should've put my ultimate on cool down. Just letting everyone know.
