After most recent patch when I get into a game the extremely, extremely annoying ambient music that plays when you're queuing for a game continues to play. Not only that it seems to increase and volume and nothing you can do in game will stop it. I had to go to my own system sounds and turn the damn thing off before I blew my brains out

Your client files have likely become corrupt if the ambient music isn't stopping. I'm assuming by "ambient music" you're referring to the login music.
I get this bug too here and there. Easiest way to fix to to turn onthe option to close client during game for a game. Or just restart client kappa.
