[Website] There seems to be an issue with the website

So i tried to go to the forums and it appears that i can't post anything to the forums or use them in any way besides look at them. I was looking around and it appears that we can only use the boards now for things and the forums are just an archive?

What about previous forum posts I had and why was I not notified that this change was going into place. I feel like closing all active discussions on the forums without moving them over is a poor decision and needs to be solved somehow. I know the only thread i am concerned about can be brought over with a simple Ctrl+C Ctrl+V because not many people have responded to it so there is nothing being lost but what about thread that had several pages of posts on them?

Should I just take the old thread i had: http://forums.na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=4774392 and make a new boards discussion and if so then where would a post of this nature go? it seems whole sections on the forums were left out of the boards
