Having to Update whenever I end tasks for League

Were there 2 updates today? Cause if not then this is probably a bug. This morning, league wouldn't open, and when I opened task manager it had four league tasks on, so I turned them all off and reopened League.

It worked, but told me I had to update, so fine, waited 10-20 mins or so, and played normally.

Later, this afternoon, I opened league again, wouldn't open so same thing as last time and had to update again.

It's not a major issue or anything, just kind of annoying.

Only started today, so it's not been recurring, just wanted to know if there's a way to avoid it and still play League.
