Bug with picking champs in Queue

This has happened to me multiple times tonight where I pick a champ to ban/pick and when I go to lock in a message pops up saying something along the lines of: "Your pick attempt failed. Try again." and then I get booted from queue for not selecting a champ. Right now I am sitting on a 15 min queue waiter due to this. Riot do you have any answers or help?
