RIOT PLEASE HELP US MAC USERS

League of legends won’t work on Mac since the latest patch. It bounces but the dot never appears below it. If you run Hextech repair tool the dot appears after an HOUR of waiting and still does nothing. It’s think it’s trying to open because you cant run anything to big unless u force quit league. I don’t wanna miss trying out Syndra and Xayah please riot help us!

Also I’m like 95% sure this isn’t just me, I’ve seen other discussions like this in report a bug but they got buried by other ones :/

I've been playing league since season 3 and I've never had issues with LoL on mac... until this last patch. I have the very same issue where the LoL icon will bounce up and down but will never actually start up. I've restarted my computer several times and redownloaded more than once in hopes that it will fix the issue - yet nothing seems to be the solution. I really hope Riot do fix this soon.

I'm on a Mac as well and what I did is...I took off my wifi before opening a freshly installed client (since I did a full uninstall trying to fix this dumb issue) and idk how or why but it actually opened..... but after switching wifi back on I can't log in because unable to connect to auth services blah blah...after a few minutes I tried again and it worked FINAFREAKINGLY!! guys idk why this works but hope it helps someone. I can't play yet, to say how things go from there since my game is still downloading but I did get the client open and I haven't been able to reach this far before.

On the italian board there are a lot of discussion about this problem (with no fix for the moment). By the way I play from my Mac running OS X 10.13.6 and I don't have this issue.
