@Riot I get an error when I start client..

I was on until 4 am est this morning with no troubles. I tried to log on at 10 and I get this error, "PVP.Net Patcher Kernel has stopped working". Under descriptions It reads the following," A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close program and notify you if a solution is available". I do have windows 8.1. I uninstalled LOL, and when I attempted to run to reinstall the same error popped up. I don't know what's going on. Can you please help. I really want to take advantage of the double IP this weekend.
