Auto attack being canceled after use of ability

I have been noticing when i activate my q on ashe; that the auto attack would cancel itself and force ashe to not attack i checked with and without the auto attack setting being on and everytime i hit Q ashe is being forced to not attack for a certain duration; can u guys fix this issue that i am experiencing.
