6.8 - Players can invite you while in draft select, accepting freezes the client

It happened just now - a player i had faced in my last game invited me manually (by writing in my summoner name in the invite section) - and i recieved the invite while in champion select. Curious, i decided to try accepting, and the chat promptly stated all the other players left the champ select lobby. The countdown for pick intent continued, however, but when it reached 0 nothing happened. I had to manually cross out the client to do anything, and i got a leaverbuster notice with a six minute cooldown to matchmaking games as well as a -3 LP loss.
