Certificate Error After 4.20

Hello,

After patch 4.20 I'm being unable to login since certificate issue, I have followed the advice to disable certificates and rebooted, then I have installed DigiCert certificates and rebooted my sys, when I test my browser they are accessible. However each time i try to login im unable to due to certificate problem. The link I provided is not reachable due to error 523. Here is the error description in the case you can open it as here it is not working at all. The server looks to be down as also my tracert fails to reach this location.

I have verified the certificate on digicert and it is valid! so the erro is no related to the certificate but perhaps the client tries to connect to a different address. Are you using custo DNS? I also tried many different DNS and the problem persists.

I have been in chat with DigiCert support, the certificate does not matter at all, also it is not advisable to disable the check as Riot said. The certificate is all good. The problem is as follow, i'll try to summarize:

My guess is that the issue is "propagation" if you are from an unreached zone your node will not resolve it correctly, if you try to access it you should get an error 1001 DNS resolve failed.

I have proof, the problem is propagation, they must have changed the IP that the address resolve to. To verify this please check the below link, you should see the nodes not yet reached by propagation:

Currently Italy, India and New Zeland are unreached by the IP resolve propagation. If you connect from one of these countries this should confirm my theory. What I could suggest is to try using a proxy, for example you can try TunnelBear and pretend that you are connecting from US or Canada.

No one in my town can play so its ok riot will fix it fast i guess :D MasterYi

I tried with TunnelBear and it worked, I was able to login, didnt try to play a game yet ;)

Well i asked my friends and no one was able to play so i think i can't play in my town i guess they will fix it :D

I also have w7 you just install it and turn it ON setting US or Canada, when it connects you are surfing as if you where from the selected country and the DNS doesnt fails to resolve correctly. This is a temp solution while we wait that they fix their s****y servers on CloudFlare. The application is FREE and fairy stable however may have disconnections after a few hours.

Using opendns.org correctly resolves the address now!
