Riot not addressing this at all? Really?

Hello, I have made a few threads and have seen other's make threads with the same problem since the patch and you (Riot) haven't said a word about it. Why after the patch am I, and many others, gaining half the LP, but losing a normal amount per game? I have won several games in my division. In fact I've won much more than I have lost. When you put out the patch I had 20-something LP in S5. You re-set me to 0LP and S4 after removing S5. I have won many games with S- or A+ scores destroying the competition. After winning 3 or 4 games in a row in my division I had 38LP. I lost 1 game and dropped over 20LP making it impossible to climb. Why aren't you making an announcement about this? I am now so frustrated I have deleted this game. Is that how you treat your customers? IS this what you plan for season 9? Because if it is I'm not playing anymore. I would enjoy some clarification on this.

To be clear the issue is that many people are gaining 10-13Lp per win, but losing over 20LP per loss. Despite a normal MMR and many wins in their division.

When we do that, some additional players may experience unexpected changes to their LP gains and losses.

We know this doesn’t feel great, but discovering these issues in Preseason helps us ensure they don’t happen at season start. These issues will correct themselves because of the season reset, so the current plan is not to make changes. If you’re experiencing a different issue that’s still related to LP, hit us up in the comments.

But I was silver 5 with 23 LP BEFORE the patch. I am still the lowest tier of silver. I don't have an inflated rank. It took me hundreds of games to climb out of bronze! It doesn't make sense for the game to think I don't deserve a silver rank. And waiting for the season start is just irritating! Especially since your pre-season rank affects your starting rank when season starts. You are basically telling me not to play ranked for a month.
