Disappearing pink ward

I'm just asking if anyone else have come across a bug where the enemy pink ward could disappear from time to time. Today I was playing support, blue side, and found an enemy pink in the small brush at the side of the river. When I started hitting it it suddenly disappeared. I ran around in circles a bit and couldn't figure it out, it was re and disappearing. lost a kill cause of that.
