Edge of Night Bug with Nasus' Spirit Fire
Nasus cannot remove edge of night with spirit fire. He can stop or interrupt the channeling of it with spirit fire, but he can not remove it with the same skill.

that's...working as intended? I don't get it, what is the issue here.
Unless you weren't aware that ground targeted skills do not count as targeting spells that spellshield works against. It's the same as every other spellshield, be it 
's or 
.
Think of it this way, spellshield protects you from spells that hit you as a target, be it single target or AoE spell. It does not, however, interact with spells targeting an area on the ground which happens to affect those caught in the vicinity.
