Bot's stopped using wards, but buy them, leaving them with only 4 items slots

Title pretty much says everything. Bot's used to ward occasionally, but now they don't even if you bait them into facechecking a bush. So it stays in their inventory, along with whatever starting item they got (dorens, flask, etc) for the entire game.

This makes it very difficult to evaluate late game builds because you will always be against opponents with 4 items.

Additionally, all the things they were supposed to do after bots were "upgraded" they don't seem to do at all anymore. They don't dodge abilities, flash, keep track of CD's, etc. It's like the upgrade got reverted or bugged out or something. Now they seem significantly worse than before.

Intermediate or beginner bots?

I've seen an intermediate bot dodge a skill shot.

Played a beginner bot game the other day to get the little XP I needed to hit 30, and they had a Rzye mid who started in lane with only 4 pots.....not even boots. After I chased him off, he came back with actual starting items

I watched a Malphite-bot use his ult to escape a single enemy twice in the same match.

Now that I remember, there was a little time last year (not doom bots) where bots warded and rekt you.

Although I always had the impression that there was lazy coding behind that, bots already had the knowledge that you were in the bush, they just warded just to delude the player that they were spotted by coincidental warding.

They actually do dodge abilities. They have a prediction factor that allows them to know exactly where your skill shot is going, and path around it. I've seen Darius Stop knowing my Thresh was going to hook him if he walked forward. Being next to a wall, he couldn't simply move to the side, so instead he walked backwards.I also see Ashe and Kayle bot try to kite me when I chase them. They're not the best but to a new player it would be hard to deal with.

Yeah, they've definitely stopped warding. I've been buying the red trinket more often (I often forget to change when buying sightstone but am learning) but there's no point because bots don't drop any wards.

As for dodging, it really depends on the champion. Morgana bot will instantly throw her shield on the second she sees a Lux/Morgana root coming towards her, but Lucian bot is less reluctant to dodge and worse, randomly dashes for no reason. Ezreal randomly dashes all the time and will occasionally use the dash to dodge, Graves seems reluctant to use his.

Kog'Maw bot can't dodge at all, but will flash in to get first blood.
