Get autofill protected but didnt even fill

I always take mid first choice and top 2nd choice and in 5 game in a row i got mid and was in autofill activated while my last game i got mid but the system say that im now autofill protected . So did i get autofill mid while not even autofilling while it was my first choice to go mid ? I mean wtf [slayer-pantheon-rainbows]
